What We Offer
I offer CBT and EMDR therapy for adults and teenagers experiencing anxiety, trauma, phobias and perinatal mental health difficulties.
My specialist interests include birth trauma, fear of childbirth, pregnancy and postnatal anxiety, perinatal OCD, pregnancy loss, reproductive trauma, medical trauma and PTSD. I work with clients in Leeds and online across the UK, with therapy available in English and Polish.

A difficult or frightening birth experience can leave you feeling anxious, numb, angry, guilty, detached, hypervigilant or unable to stop replaying what happened. You may avoid reminders of the birth, feel distressed when talking about it, or struggle with medical appointments, intimacy, bonding, sleep or the thought of another pregnancy. Birth trauma could also include antenatal or postnatal time.

How therapy can help
The type of therapy we use depends on what you are experiencing and what feels most appropriate for you. This may include CBT, trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, grounding skills, psychoeducation, graded exposure, compassion-focused approaches, or work around shame, avoidance and self-criticism.
You do not need to have the “right words” before getting in touch. Many people start therapy knowing only that they feel anxious, stuck, traumatised, overwhelmed, or unlike themselves.
